Swan Advocacy provides free advocacy services to vulnerable adults in Wiltshire. We focus on adults who because of illness, disability or age have difficulty speaking up or speaking out about issues that directly affect their life and choices.

Swan supports and empowers individuals to ask for the information and services they need in order to improve their own health and well being and provides generic and specialist advocacy services, including Independent Mental Capacity Act (IMCA), Deprivation of liberty safeguards (DOLS) and IMHA services. IMHAs are specialist advocates who are trained to work within the framework of the Mental Health Act 1983.
