Over his years of teaching guitar in colleges and schools in London, Ryan has developed a highly tuned set of skills that have enabled him to become an articulate, thoughtful and successful guitar tutor. Ryan truly understands the importance of progression within everyone’s own personal journey on the guitar; whether you are new to the guitar, want to just play a few tunes to have some fun, or want to totally master every aspect of the instrument, Ryan’s patience, experience, and dynamic teaching style will get you there. Ryan graduated University with a BA in popular music and since then has built a career as a tutor and top session player in London. He has played at various London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the Jazz Cafe. He has supported Ed Sheeran as well as playing with the members of the Rita Ora, Katy B and Emile Sande backing band. Of course, as a guitar tutor and guitarist Ryan is always keen to continue his own personal education and has been lucky enough to attend masterclasses from some of the greatest guitarists in the world, including Steve Vai, Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Jamiroquai and many more.
